(Anonymous) 2018-08-18 08:23 pm (UTC)(link)Yeah it's kind of tropey and I'm not gonna lie I pretty much initially only watched it for Eddie Redmayne, but it's a fun ride and the characters are all interesting in their own way to me.
Plus visually it's very beautiful. I wouldn't have called it a chick flick ever though? Maybe sci-fi romance at the most, but even then, the romance is barely part of the plot?
