149. I sort of agree. I have a very hard time slashing anyone, m/m, m/f, or f/f, unless they have shown some sort of romantic or sexual attraction to each other. And, outside of 'real' yaoi series, most series have very few boy/boy moments that cannot be put down to friendship.
Scenes such as Naruto accidently kissing Sasuke, or two guys hugging, or having a close friendship, or living together, or liking each other, do not a romantic relationship make.
I cannot understand those who claim to have 'slash goggles' and seem to ship people just for the hell of it, especially when the two characters have little screentime together, or have given no sign of having had anything else but a platonic relationship. And then have the nerve to get upset when said pairing ends up not being canon.

Yeah, I did come off rather harsh their. I can understand slash goggles and the like, but I don't agree with it. If you want to ship Harry/Hermione, Tohru/Yuki, Lelouch/Suzaku, House/Wilson, etc, that's fine, but it's painfully obvious that it's not going to be canon, so please don't expect it to be such.
