101. Holy crap, someone reads these books? *LOVES* Fi is just really adorable, isn't he. But honestly, the clones in Star Wars don't get enough attention - and here I was hoping that Clone Wars cartoon would have something to do with CLONES and not with more Jedi (come on, we had that for the entire prequel trilogy D:)

Yeaaaah I'm with you there, too. I was hoping for more clones, because let's face it we only watched the Cartoon Network cartoons for awesome ARC action, but I was crushed! Jedi and baby hutt saving? Pfft.

Reading the RC books and playing KotOR 2, I had to sit back and re-examine my perspective on Jedi.
And now... I don't really like them anymore. CRAZY.
The commandos have changed my fangirl, apparently.

Book-wise, I'm really looking forward to how Order 66'll come out. >:D As for the new movie coming out, it just looks really bad, at least from the trailers. The one thing that did look cool though was what looked like clones and a walker doing a battle while scaling up a vertical wall.

But KOTOR 2 had Atton. But I dunno if he counts as a Jedi - I really wished they'd finished the game so you could've seen the endings though. They need a KOTOResque game but with clones, seriously. But yeah, I agree the Jedi are kind of jerks in the prequels...although that's probably one of the things I like about the prequel verse is that they aren't some perfect, benevolent order that you're made to think of in the original movies.

I am counting down the days to Order 66 and marking my calendar :(
AND! I'm going to go see the movie. I guess as a fan I just feel... obligated to. Kind of like I feel obligated to read the Clone Wars book Karen Traviss put out, even though I'm not really sure I want to.

If the Jedi are jerks in the prequel, then the original jedi council are Super Jerks, in KotOR 1 and 2 at least.
And Atton made the game for me, I heart his crazy self. I'm of the opinion that the only "true" jedi ended up being the Exile(and friends).
But I see what you mean... Except for Yoda. Yoda was pretty awesome, despite everything. But then again, who doesn't like Yoda?

Sadly, I think Republic Commando is the closest we're getting to a clone related game.

Oh god, I just saw a TV spot for it and it was showcasing Anakin's Padawan. The dialogue in it was so cliched D: She's writing a Clone Wars book? I know she's done Republic Commando and some of the post OT stuff about Old!Boba Fett and they'd hinted about clones in that, but haven't heard of a Clone Wars book. *intrigued*

I wish they'd given Atton more dialogue time. You could get everyone in the crew to give these long stories, but Atton would just dick around in the cockpit and want to play Pazaak on you. *SAD* I wanted to be BEST PALS with him in our DARK SIDE GLORY. D:

I dunno about Yoda. More of a fan of Qui-Gon myself. xP Sucks he couldn't be in the other prequels aside from his voice and stuff.

Well, there's always playing Battlefront, but oh god, the load times. D:

Traviss' book I was referring to is based on the upcoming movie, so I don't have high hopes for it. Movie novelizations don't always make for great reading in the first place. However- cliche dialog makes me laugh like a stupid, stupid girl. So now I'm kind of excited for the movie.

Battlefront... makes me die a little on the inside. OR maybe my computer can't handle it. I'M NOT SURE! What I am sure of, however, was that my most terrifying experience in video gaming history has been... being HEAD SHOTTED in Republic Commando. The bullet hole in the center of your T-Visor doesn't go away for a good five minutes after you revive. It happened so fast! I fell out of my chair, I kid you not.

SO apparently, Atton was supposed to kick some Sith Assassin booty before you returned from your trip in the mining tunnels on Peragus. I wish they didn't cut that out. It almost feels like they cut out content from KotOR 2 to stop people from liking Atton too much. ~~Or I could just be over exaggerating.~~
