Highlander was my first fandom. I was on the email mailing lists and groups to talk about it, and it was amazing to me as I hadn't really had too many people to geek out with when I was in high school, so getting geeky friends and the internet in college was eye opening to me. (I feel old. :P )

It was my first fandom too!

I had my own little fansite on geocities and everything and spent hours perusing other sites and forums and chatrooms. Whippersnapper kids these days don't know how good they have it with their massive fic archives and their tumblogs and whatnot. ;)
