Didn't Law and Order occasionally get famous guest stars? Anyway, I like that you like an actor who could play a good serial killer.

I watch L&O and yes, they do... but not big Hollywood stars who are actively starring in movies at the time. They get a lot of theater people, amazing character actors and people who were known for other roles earlier in their careers. So basically, you're not going to see like... Robert Downey Jr. or Cate Blanchett doing L&O.
