But, for me, it's the 'I suck at summaries' or the 'Not a good summary, read it anyway' that usually keep me away. I know that summary writing can be difficult for some people, but there's no reason to put that. Put a generic summary, pick a line or three from the story, hell, even related lyrics or quotes can work.

Also, if there are a lot of spelling and grammar issues in the summary, I'm skipping the story.

Same. Post the first few lines of the story if you really can't think of anything else, but avoid "I suck at summaries lol" at all costs.
