It depends for me. If it's for a pairing I like, I'll give it a shot as long as it has a decent summary. I try not to write those authors off too fast because I was once one of them and, for me, adding in those tags kinda helped ease my anxiety about sharing my fic, so maybe it's the same for those authors.
