"I was robbed!" "Oh, can you show me what was taken?"

This is a terrible analogy, who would ever actually say this? If it was a court of law and I was trying to get someone convicted of robbery, yes, absolutely, you need to show some proof. But if my friend says to me that they got robbed, I'm not going to demand fucking receipts.
