This one time when I was a teenager and my mum asked me to take my then five-year-old and extremely chatty sister out for a walk. I refused, and remarked to my middle sister that I wouldn't mind going for a walk, but not with her.

I felt super shitty about it the moment the words left my lips, and to this day I wonder if that is part of the reason why our middle sister doesn't seem to like me much. FWIW, said youngest sister is my best friend today.
