We always make 'your mom' jokes in my friends group and once in college, my friend was talking about the zodiac and she said 'I'm a cancer!' and I was like 'your mom has cancer' and our other friend was with us, whose mother was currently battling cancer. She ended up fine and this was close to 15 years ago but I still feel guilty about it. He must have felt so awful.
