(Anonymous) 2018-08-26 08:16 pm (UTC)(link)On the other hand, I agree about socializing. I'm not a tumblr person, but I remember I felt I could be more "me" on LJ. I was constantly holding back from saying too much on forums, since I didn't want to take over the threads. LJ I was suddenly able to say everything on my mind, and then find out what other people had on their mind. And going "OT" wasn't an issue. So that's a plus. However, I still felt when there were sites, it meant I got the best of both worlds.

And same with socializing at times tbh, there's too many people and it's too easy to see and spread completely wild-ass shit
It's a double-edged sword
