I really enjoyed Dramatical Murder. The anime was all right, but the game was really cool. The bad endings were pretty awful though. I liked Gravitation and Sukisho back in the day, but I tried picking up Gravitation recently and I didn't hold up for me. Love Stage was pretty cute. My current favorite yaoi manga is Honto Yajuu and I'm perpetually baffled by the fact that there's no anime adaptation. It's both hilarious and sexy. I also enjoyed I Hear the Sunspot, Doukyuusei (the movie adaptation was very well done), Hoshi no Yakata, Yoru to Asa no Uta, and Konya mo Nemurenai.

Oh man I love Dramatical Murder. I know it's an erotic game, but I was actually really invested in the plot and world-building. Plus, Aoba's power of "destroying" people to rebuild them (or fuck them up leading to bad endings) gave me chills.

The anime was kind of bland because they avoided doing the romance plots. Except for the secret final episode in which they made a raunchy compilation of all the bad endings.. :3

I started playing that game 'cause of the sex, but I ended up almost skipping sex scenes so I could move the story along because it was so damn awesome. Aoba's power was one of my favorite things about the game. So cool.

The secret final episode was weird. Like, yay for the naughty bits, but I ended up developing this headcanon that Aoba never got rescued and that the OVA was the real ending with the anime ending being his way of coping with being Virus and Trip's sex slave.

Oh yeah, same. I was so anxious to move the plot along!

I kind of liked how the episode was done, because it was a lot more psychotic with the evil Aoba (I forget what he's called) playing chess with normal Aoba, and playing these scenarios to psych him out. The Trip/Virus thing was definitely implied to be real. I like the eeriness of that ending, but think a better "real" ending would've been Aoba ending up some kind of labrat for Toue (?). Oh well!

By the way, apparently an official English version of DM and the other Nitro games was just announced! Not sure if that means voice acting, too, lmao...

No way, really?! I would throw so much money at an official version of Dramatical Murder! If they do voice acting too, I hope they give us the option of switching to Japanese or get better voice actors than the ones they got for the English dub. Lol Well, the guy who voiced Clear wasn't too bad, but I really didn't like Aoba's VA.

But now imagine English VAs doing sex sounds, lmao..

I think I'm gonna die laughing. XD

Fuck yeah, Dramatical Murder! It's still one of my favourite stories and I loved the world and all the characters. And I still have Aoba's ringtone as my own ringtone haha.
