Yes, it's a parody of the theme song of the late 70s American TV show Greatest American Hero (for those of you who don't know), a very cheesy show indeed!

Off point, but I literally just showed my 5 year-old nephew the opening to The Greatest American Hero because asked me who my favorite superhero was and refused to believe he was a superhero (because he never heard of him - I have failed as an aunt)
