Are you a completist?

Do you save every issue or episode of the series you follow or just your favorites?

I've been going through my comic collection and throwing away all the issues I didn't like that much, since I'm not going to read them again and they are just sitting there wasting space. Same with TV series: I used to save all the episodes, but now I just keep the ones that I liked best (I've also quit buying DVD season sets, unless at least 80% of the episodes are great).

depends on the show. Some shows I'm happy to have every eppie on DVD, but some shows have good seasons and bad ones, and I'm not going to bother watching (or buying) the bad ones.

Back in the day, I bought them. Now I don't. I actually need to sell the ones I have before I move.

Yup, gotta have 'em all.

Maybe you could donate or something the comics? I mean, unless they're super-out there, somebody might like 'em. Better than just basically tossing your money.

I'm not even a completist when it comes to watching/reading things, let alone when it comes to storing them

When I can be. It helps that I don't do comics. But it is impossible to be a Tolkien completest because there are so many obscure things that contain little snippets of comments about Middle earth from him. And if I stop liking something, I'll only rewatch the seasons/movies I like. But, when it comes to tv, I will watch an entire season, even the one or two episodes I don't like, just because I don't want to miss anything even on a rewatch.

Just my favorite bits. I spent most of this past Saturday editing episodes of my two current favorite shows down to just scenes of my OTP interacting because I have no desire to rewatch the rest of the episode, but those scenes I'll watch over and over.

Only if the thing is really good, and never jumps the shark. In comics, that's pretty much limited to series that have a definite expiration date. TV, it really depends.
