There was this boy in high school that I was so into. Asked him to a party (we didn't do dances, we had parties instead). He said yes. A week later he said he'd forgotten he already had something else scheduled. And then he showed up with someone else. I guess he assumed I wouldn't go and he could get away with it. Broke my heart.
