I watched it and while it was interesting I wouldn't recommend it to everyone. It's pretty damn depressing, for starters.

I loved the book, but from what I hear the series was pretty divisive. Also, having everything important get revealed in the final chapter was exhilarating on the page, but having it all happen in one episode (the finale) sounds like it didn't work as well, especially considering how slowly the previous episodes plotted things out.

No spoilers, but the ending was really abrupt. That kind of threw me off.

Coincidence, I *just* started watching this today. I'm two episodes in, and so far I like it, but I love depressing stuff.
