Putting together a parts list to build a pc. Last time I did this was something like fifteen years ago.

...there's so many options... and I won't be able to stop myself from building a Unicorn Vomit rig.

I used a build guide from PCGamer as a jumping off point. From there it's been this horrible spiral of looking at case measurements, comparing them to component measurements, looking up threads on reddit to verify certain components are compatible... I have a spreadsheet now. A spreadsheet covered in parts and links and price tracking...

I've probably made the whole process far more complicated than it has to be, but once I got going I couldn't stop. XD

I'll have to look at that guide. It looks complicated but it'll be awesome to actually build it.

I'm always so impressed by people who can build their own PC's. My partner built one a couple of years ago and he still maintains that it was "easy," but it looks like such a minefield to me. D:
