109. I don't know. I only think it's a bad place to look for meaning because you leave yourself really vulnerable. If you look for meaning in just a show rather than in its fandom... That's something more permanent that people will have a harder time accessing and taking away from you.

I know you're trying to be reasonable, but I don't feel you understand the Joker's character if you truly believe this.

Because the Joker is not a "normal" person and, in fact, operates on a completely different level of reality and sanity than the rest of us, his definition of sex is not the standard definition of sex. He would never bang women for the hell of it - it would never be as simple as that.

Well, yes, but in that case, he'd still be "letting you touch him" as the secret-maker put it.

I can see Heath!Joker playing up the flirting a bit (well, he kind of did with Rachel) just to mess with people, especially given the whole tongue thing. But even then, I think he's so twisted that the actual act of sex would be something he couldn't do, can't even comprehend anymore.

(Granted, I think that because I still keep to The Killing Joke aspect of things, and figure that part of him died with Jack Napier. Leads one to wonder how frustrated Harley must be, and if those negligees of hers ever work...)
