109. Hey now, there's no wrong place to look for yourself. I think just realizing that you do sometimes take things a little too seriously is a pretty big step towards being able to have fun with them like other people--and remember, things don't have to be any less important to you to be able to laugh at them.

And good luck, by the way! I've found out an awful lot about myself in fandom over the years. :3

140. That is a beast dream.

148. Batman in general is responsible for making me rethink my views on the death penalty... but when I think about it, there really aren't too many cases in real life that compare to the Joker-- i.e., killer who obviously will never reform, can be unequivocally proven responsible for 90% of his crimes, makes no attempt to cover up killings, can't be kept in confinement for more than two weeks, etc. So yeah, it makes you think, but the situations it portrays are maybe not the most realistic.

159. I really like your description in the second paragraph! I don't think I've ever heard the sensation of listening to a language described like that. Very cool. Kind of synaesthetic. (And as a wannabe language junkie, I'm glad you stopped worrying and learned to love German.)

169. Team Rocket: still rockin'! <3

148) In real life, most prisons don't have Arkham's revolving door.

'Course, Arkham is an asylum, not a prison, and escaping from those is somewhat easier (but not THAT easy, God!), but that in and of itself is unrealistic — the insanity defense could not get someone like the Joker out of prison in the world I know.
