Uh. I just realized you may have honestly been inquiring because you're not familiar with the new big bad wank. (Personally, I try my damned hardest to stay on the outer fringes of fandom.) So, yeah, if that was the case; hit up fandom_wank.

I'm as familiar as I can be, being that I'm not involved at all, lol. I was just honestly curious, because I don't know if it was ever determined that he was behind it - was he? I'd been thinking that maybe it was just his "people".

Calling it like I see it, dude. I'm well aware there were a few sincere Jensen fans in that comm. The majority of the other "well known" fen who were involved were, in my experience, huge Jared fans who think the sun shines out of his ass, and Jensen should be so lucky to have such a saint to light his benighted, douchey life. (These were the same ones who were so crushed and disbelieving at the Sandy situation, and wrote long, tearful LJ entries about how they should never get invested in an actor again.)

I'm not saying the site was a Jared fan idea. I just happen to think some Jensen fans set it up, and some Jared fans took advantage of the chance to bash him consequence-free. That being the way I see it, I don't think Jensen really lost that many people who were actually sincere about wanting him to do well.

dude - you CLEARLY have NO IDEA who was involved. the people that made the posts about sandy? NONE OF THEM WERE INVOLVED IN PETJA. they may have made some posts AFTER the fact, but they were NEVER ACTIVE MEMBERS. jesus christ, you don't have a SINGLE FACT CORRECT.

Who said anything about edgy? I think it's bold to take action against something he felt was wrong at the risk of losing fans, i.e. what in a roundabout way makes the basis of his livelihood. And hey, it's all relative, you know?
