The Upstairs was an absolute nightmare. People throwing things, screaming, crying, threatening each other... One man exposed himself to me twice with a raging hard-on and my roommate (a paranoid schizophrenic) told me she was going to kill me. But the Downstairs unit (exclusively for people with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorders) was calm and soothing and even fun! It was a great experience, minus the Upstairs.

Eek. I have to give props to the people that work in the Upstairs. I feel like the burnout would be so high.

They were all very calm, but warm people. So many of them were so kind to me when I was falling apart and they treated everyone very well while in the middle of a hurricane. All the staff there was wonderful.
