I normally love rain, but we've been getting drenched here these past few weeks and I am now the owner of a house that doesn't have the world's driest basement, so I could do with a little less.

I'm more a fan of overcast but not rainy days. For one thing, in my neck of the woods, it rains almost constantly (especially this time of year) and said rain is always accompanied by thunderstorms, which have never been fun for me and are definitely not fun for my dogs. For another, I have fibromyalgia and two forms of arthritis, so rainy/stormy days are absolute hell on me, pain-wise. I like rain in theory, but in practice it's a bitch and a half to deal with.
