This might not be quite the same thing, but there are a whole bunch of ancient TV shows/movies that I wish had modern fandoms, with modern style fic and fic variety. Random example, but there was a 60s show called The Champions, basically a paranormal spy show, and I want all the modern style OT3 stories and whump and daemon AUs, etc. While there is fanfic to be found for the show, most of it seems to be old school case fic and/or the sort of rudimentary slash fic you got a lot of in the 90s.

Essentially, there's a good few ancient or non-existent fandoms that I wish would get the modern update that a lot the reboots of things like Trek and MFU shot into their fandoms. Though, saying that, preferably WITHOUT the reboots themselves. Canon reboots tend to be really hit-or-miss-mostly-miss lately. I just want the fandom, you know?

The Magnificent Seven remake. So much shipping potential, and of course, rewriting happy endings for people.
