that was this year. They don't clean out the guest list and start introducing next year until around March-ish.

it's worth going though. we rubbed elbows with ST:Voyager alumni, Joel from MST3k, Mitch Pileggi, and yeah I eyeballed Jason Isaacs from across the room going "yep that sure is him, look at him." He was very handsome.

That was really the final nail in the coffin, was realizing that I was bringing all that stress home with me no matter how hard I tried to leave it at the door. I was starting to get some physical anxiety responses to even going in in the morning. Uggghhh so bad.

At work today (a library) everyone was looking all over the place for one specific book. I looked up from my alphabetizing, asked what they were looking for, and found it in literally, honest to god, under two seconds. Exactly where it was supposed to be.

Apparently my students have been thinking I'm natively English.

This would've been more impressive if we weren't in an EFL classroom and I didn't know for a fact that my English skills plummet in conversations with native speakers, but it was still a pretty heartwarming.

Recent things for me: new housemate moved in and he's awesome, my boss praised me up in an e-mail to his superiors, and I've finally been learning to cook somewhat edible meals.
