The cast? Mello had a unknown do his voice and L had someone who did a Barbie movie, big whoop.

L was voiced by a respected opera singer.

So he can sing and voice someone who does not suit his voice!

Fail secret is fail. The DN dub is utter fail. The voices do not fit anyone and I feel the Ocean Group bullshitted the entire thing just to make Viz happy. OG is usually so good casting that I had very high standards for them, they failed to meet them. Even the crappy Yugioh dub put out by 4Kids is better.
