104. I hate Rachel (but for her own merit, rather than actress/romance), but even I felt some fansquee when it became clear she'd rather stay with Harvey than her depressing, somewhat psychotic somewhat selfish childhood friend who had the broodingly sexy thing going for him. That felt genuine, and score one for women making intellgent relationship choices.
...
Granted, five seconds later...Oh man, Harvey yelling, "No, you were supposed to go after her!" was for all of us.

112. Y'know, these secrets are making me want to troll-flood F!S with the "hit the Joker" secrets.
Not to mention, they're just arrogant. A) Heath!Joker and Comics!Joker are different characters. It's okay if people would hit one and not the other. B)It's even okay for them to make secrets of it. Just because it seems boring and obvious to you doesn't mean it is to them. My liking for the psychos is well-known, so I'm not ashamed, but some folk, especially the younger ones, are probably freaked out by being so drawn to such a dark, chilling character.

118. Oh word yes. Seriously, the on-screen chemistry wal pallipable.

123. Oh, Steward and Colbert, make us proud to be Americans again, please.

126. Platonically, yeah. They've gotta be together forever.

137. I AM SO GLAD I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE FOR WHOM THE SOCKS DO IT!
I have a thing about guys in tacky/oddly colourful clothes. Between the socks, the shirt, and the waistecoat...Ooooh, it's like unwrapping a Christmas present! But especially those socks. I want a pair!

139. There is no comparison. I was crushed after Wash's death (even moreso because I'd been semi-spoiled for it, but I still cried out "NO!" in the theatre when it happened. Granted, I sobbed for half an hour and spent the rest of the weekend in a depressed daze after Fred's).
Of course Wash didn't deserve to die. That's probablh why Josh killed him--he took the character who was most on the perif, who was bright and cheerful and not-quite-dirty. He could've done Kaylee, but that would've gotten him lynched, and forever-unrealised-love is sad, but not as sad as knowing Wash and Zoe will never have a little mini-them. Their relationship is one of my favourite things in the history of television, stories, and characters ever.

142. To be fair, that version of Colbert is basically a character, rather than a real-real person.
I still want.

147. It really wasn't. I haven't seen Iron Man, but I can imagine it being better. I'd only see it twice for Heath, really. It just didn't pull off a coherent story as well as it should've.
Kevin Conroy may be >>>>Christian Bale, but is he >>>Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, and Heath Ledger?

157. You make a good point. Also doesn't hurt that Jamie is my favourite companion. Well, once Donna came along, it was a tie. And there's always Evelyn.
But the difference, I think, is that Jamie was a fully realised person before he met the Doctor. He was a soldier, he knew his measure, he had full confidence in himself to be friggen cool. Donna didn't, even though she was basically the coolest character to come along since Jamie. She didn't know that about herself. And then she did. And now she doesn't anymore.
Extended canon says he survived the war, and helped the Doctor again when older, but died doing so. I like the idea (I'm fuzzy on the how, exactly) that Jamie and the Doctor got around the whole thing and travelled the universe together for many more years. But either way, to me, Jamie definitely survived the war.
His last words to the Doctor break my heart, though.

139 - Word. I didn't see it in the theatre, but I cried out "Nooo!" at home, and I'm pretty sure I'd have cried out the same thing if I'd seen it on the big screen. Joss is so effing cruel! And I must have spent a week in a depressed daze after Fred died. In fact I can't watch Angel after "Smile Time"... although it's more that I can't bear Wes's pain than that I really loved Fred.

157 - Word on this too.

It was one of those things I noticed and immediately found myself grinning at. Saw them on him when he's sitting on the floor after the interrogation scene. Glad someone agrees with me.
