I don't see many of the comments usually, because I catch the secrets pretty early normally and no one has really commented yet.

I've only noticed one was a comment secret without it being pointed out.

If it weren't for comment secrets, there'd be significantly fewer secrets each week. I like them.

I'm kind of the opposite of you, here - I'd rather a fewer secrets that haven't already been discussed.

But...eh...I suppose my annoyance with them isn't high enough to bother complaining any more than I already have if other people like them, so, fair enough, I suppose.

To be fair, I think most of the secret!comments haven't really been discussed at great length. A lot of people don't even know they're secret!comments at all, so it generates more discussion than just getting lost in the gc threads.

Someone made a secret out of a comment I made that wasn't in a "comment secret" thread. And my comment had had no discussion at all... but the secret got like 25 or more comments. I felt loved really. That's why I don't mind those secrets.

It's a secret made from a comment in the general comments. Maybe don't report secrets you're "pretty sure" about unless you have an actual source link to confirm?

If someone knows it's a mistake, yeah. Case is being a lot more careful these days, but it wasn't that long ago when peoples' secrets got failbarred due to a totally unsubstantiated report - from people who were super sure they'd seen it, but of course they didn't have the source link.
