I think what OP means is, AUs where the *fictional characters* are actors. Like, a story about the Winchesters living and working in Hollywood, rather than about the actual real life people who play the Winchesters.

Yeah. That is 100% what they meant. And it being super OOC blurs the line between actor/character. Which is where the guilt comes form.
