Good for you, anon. Fandom can a healthier coping mechanism than say...hiding under blankets and refusing to answer the phone (mine), lying on the couch crying (also mine) or drinking too much (mine).

Writing, even if it's fanfiction! is still exercising your narrative skills, giving your vocabulary and word processing centers a workout and making it easier to write things for work or career, like resumes, natch, in the future!
