9th grade USA history class. A kid that was the class clown came running down the hall yelling about a plane hitting the World Trade Center. Everyone thought it was a prank until a teacher came in and told our teacher to turn on the news. I live next to one of the largest military bases in the USA. Several students had parents that were in the military. Kids were having panic attacks thinking the nearby base was going to be targeted.
