163. You're probably a blast to have at parties, and are beloved by all your countrymen. Why are you posting on Fandom Secrets if you don't appear to be interested in any fandom at all? And when the fuck did Doctor Who (which forty-five years old), Stephen King (who first published in 1973), Terry Prachett (first in 1982), and Comic Books (time immemorial) become "fad" fandoms? What the shit is wrong with you, you anonymous jerkoff? If you want to be joyless and bitchy because your friends enjoy things, then you probably need to reassess your life's priorities. Or at least do it to their faces.

I was quoted? Heck yeah! I should get angrier more often. To be honest, I've been looking for the correct situation to use that quote since I saw The Dark Knight. I can imagine Christian Bale and his raspy-cough Batman voice dropping that choice bon mot into the sequel, if only to see Gary Oldman's shocked expression.

Yes, I'm sure it's very happy out there in the forums for Pather Pachali or Fish Police or people who unironically enjoy Rick Astley albums or somesuch. And I'm sure they're all so glad where they can be snarky and look down on all those people who are having fun in a crowd. I wonder if they have conventions where they stay in separate rooms and scream at the top of their lungs about how awesome they are.

Do our "science" icons classify as coming from obscure fandoms? Or do more than three people watch Sakura Wars and Swamp Thing rendering them uncool?

Hey, don't ask me, ask 180. Personally, I wish Sakura Wars were a little more uncool by his/her definition (though I must admit to never having seen Swamp Thing either... I did read some of the comics, for whatever that's worth?).
