112. I've lost 85% respect for them (excluding Micah, Ben, Kevin, and the other old hosts that are never on) because they're all about Twilight now.

I mean, she was there to make trouble for them, antagonise them and she did. She screwed them over every chance she got, shot one of them, tried to kill both of them, only cared for herself. She was the perfect villain.
To keep her around would make the boys look like idiots. She couldn't have have remained in their lives, they already looked stupid for trusting her as often as they did. All decent villains die in the end. It's their fate.
I don't doubt they'd have killed her off more creatively if they'd had those 6 extra episodes though.
ETA: I honestly don't understand how people say Kripke killed her off because he listens to the fans too much. Like...what did everyone expect? That she'd be redeemed and they'd all live happily ever after? No, that's lame. She was always going to die. She was always going to DESERVE to die.
