Uh, I didn't say I was for Horrible/Penny or Hammer/Penny. :| It's my fault, perhaps I should have been more specific and said I agree 100% with OP in that Horrible/Hammer rubs me the wronnngg way. Hammer, though lolztastic, was defeated to a crying mess in the end, and it was his fault for screwing with the LAZURRR and killing Penny. I liked the burgeoning friendship between Penny and Billy, because after he lost her he lost the last bit of humanity or whatever TL;DR Joss threw in, I liked the scenes where she was waiting for him sadly while eating a frozen yogurt because she wanted to talk to him, but like, happily ever after? No. He's a BOOM AHAHAHA villain, she's Penny, and everything that came with her character. Hammer/Penny was canon, but for obvious reasons Penny was starting to inch away so she COULD run for the hills.

I'm not claiming anyone seriously thinks Horrible/Hammer is a healthy relationship; I'm saying I don't agree with it and I don't like it to the point I can't even properly form the words to describe it. Which, y'know, is how others feel about my much loved Ed/Al, Aerith/Tifa, Kakashi/Sakura ships: it's just agree to disagree.

The OP's reason for hating them was that it was disrespectful to Penny and Billy... I assumed since you agreed that was your reasons too.

To be truthful, I'm still not sure why you hate the pairing so much. I mean, I can understand how it wouldn't float your boat at all -- I have lots of pairings I'm meh over, but to have this level of disgust that a pairing even exists? That's just ... perplexing.
