What the other anon said. GBBO started off doing LOTS of history - look for season 1 if you can find it. And they've done "where are they now?" segments at the end for a while now, so neither of those things are new.

The US gets extremely edited versions. And Netflix only has 4 seasons. Also, as someone who wants to watch the earlier seasons, they are really hard to find online.

Apparently the US Netflix versions are super edited. For some reason, what shows up and what doesn't is highly variable from season to season on there - out of the 4 Mel&Sue seasons they have up, only 1 has the Where Are They Now and none have the history bits.

That's sad! Where Are They Now is one of my favourite parts!
