I wish they would show both sides. And on How to Make A Murderer it is particularly ridiculous because it doesn't actually matter if the guy did it or not. there were major miscarriages of justice, and he should be freed because of that. So they don't even have to prove he's innocent.

I feel like they have to address the guilt and innocence because America doesn't care about the humanity of criminals at all. Or even people who aren't criminals but just interact with the criminal justice system. Just in the last couple days, you have the guy who got shot by a off duty police officer because she went to the wrong apartment, and now all the news are reporting how he "didn't obey verbal commands" and had weed in his apartment. And we stranded a bunch of prisoners in the hurricane when everyone else evacuated. The American public is fucking unbelievably with this stuff and I don't know what to do about it.

But what if he truly is guilty? I'm annoyed too that a lot was left out of the documentary that points to his guilt.

If he's guilty, they still violated his constitutional due process rights. He still should be freed because of that.

I agree, that's annoying and I don't think the filmmakers should've done that. But even if he's guilty, that investigation was badly mishandled by both the police and the prosecution. Brendan should be freed immediately. Steven... maybe on a technicality, which would be a shame if he's guilty. But this is why we have due process and we the police MUST conduct a clean investigation.
