The Ash and Eiji moments were so sweet. It was really touching to see Ash open up about such a vulnerable topic to Eiji, and Eiji seems so much more comfortable and mature, too. I loved their dynamic this episode.

Also, Ash in glasses. <3

Their dynamic was my favorite part of the episode too! I loved the funny bits (I never would've guessed that Ash was afraid of pumpkins) and the serious bits (Ash crying and Eiji comforting him made me so happy/sad). It felt like a breather episode of sorts, which was sorely needed after what happened to Shorter and everything else. The trust they have for each other is so wholesome and I want nothing but happiness for them.

Oh, I loved how they talked about little things like that. Halloween fears, Eiji's family and not-cute sister. Loved how Eiji woke up Ash, and they joked about Eiji making bad sandwiches. Those moments really brought life into their relationship, and the Ash crying and opening up about the rape was really more poignant because of it, as well as his desire to keep Eiji close and protect him. I just want them to run off to Japan together where the mafia can't get them..
