126. Sometimes I think it is a good idea for TPTB to listen to fans but not cater to them, especially when the people bitching can't even agree what the hell they even want. Seeing that Tim Kring could have kept Maya dead in the season finale, and almost all of fandom would have rejoiced over it, is keeping me hopeful that he has some plans for her.
134. Frodo and Sam had such a special relationship. It makes me envious. I hope your friend realizes this.
135. I've seen all of Nine and Ten's episodes with some One and Three. I have to say that Three is my favorite presently.

(Anonymous) 2008-08-15 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)Exactly. I would never suggest that they ignore fans altogether. I think it's good for them to keep in tune with the fanbase's feelings in general. But actually making major storyline and character decisions based on the whims of a bunch of online fans would be taking it too far, IMO.
And I'm also not necessarily saying that they would ever actually do that - maybe my fear is entirely irrational, but it worries me nonetheless.

Your fear isn't irrational because I definitely have that fear for her as well as Molly, Micah, and Monica based off of the lack of what we've seen of them and the actors. Geez, the fates of the characters whose names start with M are making me nervous.
