I thought all the Steve fans who went to cons were really just Jensen fans...I didn't really picture people jumping at the chance to climb on him, to be honest.

I mean, at a Steve gig I'd understand, but aren't Steve and Jason just fillers at Sci-Fi cons because people know OF them through Jensen? Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not that con-savvy.

Steve does have his own fans and if it were after a gig no-one would blink twice. But he's doing it at cons where ppl are only interested in him cos he's Jensens friend.

Contrary to some people's belief, there are people who are genuinely Steve's fans too that go to SPN fans because they also happen to be Jensen's fans.

Well that anon clearly doesn't know much about the con scene because while there are some people who are only into Steve and Jason because of Jensen's connection, there are plenty of fans there that are into Steve (and Jason) because they are genuine fans of their music in addition to being fans of Jensen's (and/or Jared's and/or the show in general).

Also the only way I'd see it as weird on him sleeping with someone at a con would be if they're only doing it to somehow feel closer to Jensen. But eh, that's not his problem. At least he's getting laid out of it. But if they're both consensual and they're both getting enjoyment and fun out of it then who cares?
