sa I guess I should have been more specific - what I meant was "How do I wipe it." I probably should have just looked it up on the net rather than bother people about it but I've never tried to wipe a hard drive before.

I use Darik's Boot and Nuke. Download the program to a USB drive, boot to USB, and away you go. It will overwrite the drive multiple times. Good enough for my purposes, less manual labour than a hammer or drill.
