Are there any fictional crushes you've had a long time (10+ years)? How about crushes you used to have that you got over.

Jafar from Aladdin was one of my first fictional crushes when I was a teenager. Still going strong. On the other hand, I'm over being attracted to Luke Skywalker (I'd rather be him).

Vegeta. He also established a character type that I will always love.

Probably Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII, that's like 20 years of crushing now, haha.

Kurama from YYH.

I had a crush on Kurama too! He's so damn pretty and smart. My friend and I used to fight over him during our weeb phase.

Robin from Disney's Robin Hood. Yeah, the fox. I swear I'm not a furry, but I love his voice. And I'll always love Kenshin Himura (though his creator can go get bent).

I used to have crushes on the goggleheads on Digimon. Takato was my favorite. Then I got old and felt my feelings changed from "I wanna kiss and hold hands" to "Why can't you be my little brother so I can protect and spoil you?". I also had a huge crush on Arnold from Hey Arnold and wanted Helga to get together with him so bad because she had a unibrow like me and was clearly my cartoon counterpart, so if she got together with him, it was like I did too. Kid logic is weird.

I was that way with Simba. It was the mane for me, which hit my long hair on guys thing before I even knew that was my thing.

Spike. Never gonna get over him.

He was my second big crush. Continuing the character type I love that started with Vegeta.

MMmm, Spike. I liked him a lot. Even when he was full-on evil he was all about pleasing the woman he loved. That always did it for me.

I've loved Niles Crane from "Frasier" for nearly 20 years :).

I've been lowkey in love with Daniel Jackson from Stargate SG-1 since I was 9 or 10 years old. I think I made a secret about it a while back. That's like 20 years of crushingnlol. Child-me had hella good taste tbh.

Daniel was fine. Though I was never quite sure if I was really into Daniel, or just into Shanks, since I thought he got hotter as the seasons went on and he changed from what he was before.

oh, Shanks is a very good looking man, but for me a lot of it is Daniel's personality. I've seen interviews with Shanks, and he seems to be a fun guy (I also appreciate his anti-white-nationalist-etc tweets), but he's quite different from the character, and although I can appreciate his looks it's definitely a character-crush for me, not so much an actor-crush lol

Erik, the Phantom of the Opera, for, er ... 23 years. A lot of my opinions about him have changed, however, chief among them that I’ve gone from defending all the shit he pulled to referring to it as “all the shit he pulled” and to him as “gdi you bastard wtf is wrong with you?”

Allen Schezar from Vision of Escaflowne is always going to be my wonderful broken shining knight. I adore him so deeply.

I will also always harbor a deep crush on Aeris Gainsborough, but I will never forgive Compilation for what they did to her. Rinoa Heartilly will always be near and dear to my heart (heh) too.
