The one I felt bad for in that situation was the assistant. She definitely had the kids foisted on her and it was not the plan, she was clearly still being expected to do work stuff at the same time, and the kids purposefully get away from her. THEN she gets eaten by dinosaurs. I mean, come on.

Which doesn't help the complaints that the film is sexist.

You have, what, three female speaking roles; one's the copy-and-paste Mom (Judy Greer deserves more, tbh) who thinks her sister muuuuuust have babies; one's the 80's stereotype: 'She has a career, therefore she needs taking down a peg or two!'; and one who gets this ott gory death that even dude reviewers found dodgy:
