Re: Netflix is doing a Live Action Avatar the Last Airbender series

This really depends on where they're going to take it... I barely skimmed the article, but if it has any intention of relaying the story as it did before the 'climax' of the Earth Kingdom Saga, I might give it a chance...
But seeing as if it's some kind of 're-imagined' take on Aang's perception, I'm rather hesitant.
Avatar had a surprising amount of potential- most of which it abandoned once they gained entry into the capitol of the Earth Kingdom. If they only decided to elaborated on the multiple loose ends, and retract much of the over-empowerment it gave to some of it's characters, then maybe I'd give like to see what happens next.

As it is, I really have no interest in another 'destiny' driven story, and even less in an exact recount of the missteps the series took towards it's end.

I want it to be good, and I have this hope it might take off from the point I truly believed it had potential. But as it is, my opinion doesn't actually matter, and this will just end up as another failure of live-action cartoons;;
