I honestly don't care? I don't think the casting was terrible. It was the story and direction that were terrible.

The casting didn't bother me. Mind you, it didn't thrill me, but it didn't bother me. But I agree, the absolutely terrible script was difficult to get past. I don't think any actors could've made that work well, and I think if the script had been great, people wouldn't be that annoyed by the casting.

I will say that I think they need an actor who can play Clark Kent and who gets that Clark is the real person, Superman is the mask. But that is as much an issue about writing and understanding the character to begin with.
