What is everyone doing this weekend?

I am going to be miserable trying not to grind my teeth down because the house appraisers did not get back to us today. So, we won't know the value of the house we want to buy until Monday. So if it even appraises for enough, we won't be able to close on the 28th, completely fucking over our move. I will probably drink and play video games.

The usual menu planning and shopping, but I'd also like to start going through all my ~stuff~ and pruning out shit that I basically haven't touched in the six years since I moved in.

Have fun with the...almost Fall cleaning! Always fun to get rid of stuff. :)

Car guy is coming some time between noon and 5 tomorrow to fix my windshield. Other than that, I'm taking the day off. Sleep, kitty time, and watching Doctor Who. Also probably reading some fic. Want to read some Thirteenth Doctor stuff. How are there only 15 explicit fics on AO3 featuring her? I was expecting a lot more.

I'm going to give people a pass on writing stories until we see more details of her actual character, as much as I would be fine with just straight up porn of her.

There should be more smutty fic combining Doctors and companions from different eras. Wayyyyy more.

TBH, right now I just want the femslash. And I was really expecting there to be more. But I'll take what I can get. Can't wait for the premier.

Yup. Had a crack for two weeks now. Just didn't have time to get it fixed. Stupid bird dropped a rock on my windshield.

I have to work all day Sunday but tomorrow I'm going with my husband to watch football at Rock Bottom Brewery.

What teams are you going to be watching?

All of them (although I prefer the smaller school games)!

Gonna start the possible destruct-testing of my old embroidery machine to make a Halloween costume/cosplay tonight, see if it still works. Buy mondo thread and stabilizer if it does, fit as many rounds of embroidery as I can between mow and Sunday morning because I work all afternoon. In between probably cursing my ineptitude, I’ll plant some stuff and pull some weeds in the garden, go grocery shopping, and get some extra walking in. I didn’t even get to two miles yesterday ‘cause I conked out early with a headache. If I can fit in a bonus round I’ll schlep some laundry to the laundromat.

What is 'destruct-testing'? I am always amazed by people who can create their own clothes and such!

AYRT—Destruct testing is when you use something until it breaks to see how durable (or not!) it is. I hope I don’t break or damage my machine, which I haven’t used much, but I intend to make a version of this

are you me? actually, you sound more like me and my roommate mixed into one crazy person. she's doing embroidery and I'm doing the cooking, gardening, and 2 mile walks.

that dress though, holy shit. Good luck getting all that nice lace-edge cut work done, it'll be amazing.

I finally finished the VN commission so now I'm going to chill and draw some stuff and get around to toning my sample comic pages for patreon.

I hope you got a lot of your drawing done! :)
