Saying that someone is less popular isn't the same thing as saying someone isn't popular at all. If I had to guess, I'd say that Loki is a popular character...but clearly not popular enough for his own solo film.

DA - He's a villain (or, really, an ambiguous trickster). By definition a secondary character that can't really stand alone without a foil. Why would he get his own film? Why should he? Should the Red Skull get his own movie too?

I don't disagree that these shows are a way for them to make money off of lower-tier characters, but it's certainly not cheating them out of a real movie that they somehow deserve.

And as far as I'm concerned, Loki has more than overstayed his welcome. How much more than can possibly explore his character? I'd be much more open to a show on the Scarlet Witch or another character, thank you very much.
