If this helps at all, I did an exchange earlier this year. My prompter missed a fic for six weeks--the only reason she saw it at all was I wrote a second prompt and she didn't miss that notification and I mentioned the first fic in my author's notes--and then it took her months to read and leave a comment. It was really hard to NOT wonder whether I messed it up (her comment on the second fic was along the lines of "I bet I know what other prompt you chose and I can't wait to read it"), and it was only because I knew her a little bit of her life outside fandom that I realised the silence was because her real life had become insanely busy and she wasn't managing to read (or write!) any fic. In the same exchange a year before, someone else left the fic uncommented on for months because of a mental health crisis. Things do happen, and it's not a reflection on you. (And, of course, some people are just rude)

Thanks for the perspective! I'm doing my best to remember to be happy that I just managed to finish and post the darn thing! :)
