At what point did I get emotional or abusive? WTF is this comment? Okay, you hate her. You are acting like she's the worst woman in the world and that no one could possibly disagree with you. Like it is your personal mission in life to make everyone hate her. Even if you were entirely right on everything, that is still a massive overreaction.

Oh is fuck you the standard greeting in America now? Sorry, my mistake. It's considered abusive in my country to say that someone so I chalked it up to you getting emotional.

Doesn't change the fact Rose McGowan is ok with a grown man sexually abusing children and filming and distributing it. Doesn't change the fact Rose McGowan hounded someone to death. Doesn't change the fact that Rose McGowan never came forward about being raped by Harvey Weinstein.

That? Was about blaming a woman for not coming out and talking about being raped. Given the climate even a couple years ago, blaming a woman for that makes you an asshole. Calling her a hypocrite for then blaming others for doing the same thing, sure. I sideeye that myself. But blaming her for taking money and not going public? I stand by what I said. Blaming a rape victim for not coming forward is a really fucked up thing to do. Especially with someone powerful like Weinstein who could have and would have ruined her life if she had.

But I don't blame her for not coming forward. At no point did I say that. SHE said anyone who knows about abusive men and then covers up for them is to blame for all the victims that come after. She named a bunch of men and women as being responsible for her and other women being raped by Weinstein, including Meryl Streep. And never once saw the hypocrisy of it. And now claims she came forward to stop it happening to anyone else. But she didn't. She was exposed as being part of the cover up.

And believe it or not I totally understand why she took the money. I totally understand why she got into that hot tub. It was rape because she couldn't say no and she knew that and so she said yes.

But that in no way excuses her accusing innocent people. It doesn't excuse her lies about coming forward. And it doesn't excuse her portraying other Weinstein victims as being complicit nor rape victims in general as being unstable and unreliable.

Okay, then. It sounded from your comments like you were blaming her. The rest of it is gross. She's done some terrible things. I'd argue for some sympathy because I think she clearly has PTSD and is mentally ill. But yes, blaming other women for doing the same thing she did is hypocritical (men I would blame for the most part because they all have a certain amount of power, and they should be using that power to help rape victims and to call out other men who are rapists).
