I met Jewel Staite at a con last month (autograph line) and being in her close proximity turned me from a calm rational adult woman into a bashful derpy child, but she was super sweet and cool about it. She's very good at making you feel special, like it felt like she genuinely appreciated every individual person who came to see her and gave each person her full attention. Also she is REALLY beautiful in person, like damn girl.
