I wish people would grasp that like... A label is ultimately just a conventional abstraction over a reality that's always going to be more complex and specific and multifaceted. A useful abstraction, an important abstraction, a meaningful abstraction. But ultimately just a word.

I was listening to a podcast about Magnus Hirshfeld the other day, and I could swear that the hosts said that Hirshfield claimed that there were a couple of million different permutations of sexuality.

Some days it feels as though tumbler is determined to give all of them unique names. :p
