My primary reason for living is the meaningful relationships I have with others. Taking pleasure in the company of my family and friends, watching my children grow and find joy in the world. But there are other things that are equally important and enriching. Taking pleasure in small moments and sensations. Enjoying a simple meal, watching a squirrel in a tree, nurturing my garden through the seasons. A cold gin and tonic on a sunny evening. A crisp white wine at lunch in autumn. A hot chocolate under the covers in winter. Immersing myself in my favourite media and reliving the story over and over again. Creating worlds and characters in my mind. Sleeping and dreaming.

I find it helpful not to focus so much on the big picture and focus on trying to find pleasure in small bitesize pieces. It's overwhelming to have to try and think of an overarching point to life, but by just focusing on the small things, you may find something to satisfy your question without the angst of actively pursuing it.
